Located in Ponoka, the Centennial Center for Mental Health is also home to the Grant MacEwan University, School of Registered Psychiatric Nursing. It is a growing training centre for medical and allied professionals in psychiatric, geriatric, and brain injury specialties. The School of Registered Psychiatric Nursing is located at the Dave Russell Education complex so that students are able to gain real world experience.
