Highways 2A and 53 run right through the centre of Ponoka.
Calgary is only 2 hours south, Edmonton is 1 hour north, and Red Deer is just 40 minutes south.

The Edmonton International Airport is only 45 minutes to the north.
An added feature in Ponoka is the local industrial airport –
Labrie Field - with a 3100 foot (950 metre) runway and the CANPASS designation for customs clearance – ideal for private aircraft.
